About Newberry
Newberry College's 90-acre campus is located in Newberry, South Carolina, the safest city in the state. With 24 majors, 31 minors, 1,025 students, and a 14:1 student-teacher ratio, Newberry College ensures that students receive individual attention and guidance as part of its values-based curriculum.
With its excellence in sciences, teacher education and values based learning; Newberry College is a great place for a student to invest in their future. The College houses one of the only undergraduate forensic chemistry program in the state and is proud to introduce our new nursing program. Newberry College graduates have a great acceptance rate for graduate and professional schools.
Offering more than 50 organizations for students, Newberry College provides many opportunities for excellence outside the classroom. Over fifty percent of our students participate in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The athletics program includes fifteen NCAA competitive teams for men and women.
