Admission to the Pre-Nursing Program at Newberry College beginning Fall 2007

Admission will be open for students who begin the Pre-Nursing courses the fall of 2007. After two years of study, students will then compete for seats in the Nursing major. Sophomores should acquaint themselves with the requirements for admission to the Nursing major, curriculum, requirements and sequencing, and requirements for the BSN degree. All students wishing to begin work toward the goal of obtaining a baccalaureate degree in nursing must first gain admission to Newberry College.

Any Newberry College student beginning fall 2007 may declare Pre-Nursing as their initial program of study either upon admission to the College or after admission to the College. This declaration will mark their admission to the Pre-Nursing (Lower Division) curriculum. Upon declaring their intent to the College, students must schedule an appointment with a nursing faculty advisor.
