Available Majors, Minors, and Concentrations
Art Major with Studio Art Concentration

Students majoring in Art with a concentration in Studio Art must complete ART 101, 102, 161, 171, 211,
221, 231, 241; six additional hours in drawing, painting, printmaking, or clay art ceramics; and three elective hours from the Art area, which may include ART 220 and ART 320 for a total of 33 hours. Six hours must be at the 300-400 level.

Art Major with Graphic Design Concentration

Students majoring in Art with a concentration in Graphic Design must complete ART 101, 161, 211, 220,
221, 261, 264, 320, 361, 461, 464 (6 hours) for a total of 36 hours.

Art Minor

The Art minor requires 15 hours in addition to ART 181 or ART 211 for a total of 15 hours.

Graphic Design Minor

The Art minor in Graphic Design requires ART 161, ART 220 or 320; ART 261, 361, or 461, and ART
464 for a total of 15 hours.
