Newberry College partners with Lexington Medical Center for the education and clinical instruction of our nursing students. The Department of Nursing at Newberry College is dedicated to providing a baccalaureate education in the Christian tradition through collaboration with students in a dynamic learning environment.
The nursing program at Newberry College is approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing and the baccalaureate program at Newberry College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, One Dupont Circle, NW, Suite 530, Washington DC 20036, (202) 887-6791.
Graduates are eligible to take the licensing exam to become registered nurses. Nursing classes and labs are taught by full-time and adjunct faculty who are registered nurses with master's or doctoral degrees in nursing.
