RN to BSN Completion

The RN to BSN Completion Track at Newberry College allows licensed nurses (RNs) to earn a B.S. degree in Nursing in as little as 1 year through a convenient online/blended format. Newberry College’s RN to BSN Completion track further develops licensed nurses for the demands of a nursing career and equips them with the skills necessary to assume leadership roles, resulting in promotions and higher salaries.

According to a 2010 study by the Institute of Medicine (IOM), the number of nurses who hold a baccalaureate degree will increase from 50% to 80% nationally by 2020, leading to a more competitive field. Apply today to ensure you have the credentials to achieve your career goals!

Program Features

  • Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
  • Students may complete their BSN nursing requirements in as little as 1 year
  • Nursing courses will meet face-to-face off campus in the Lexington/Columbia area 2-4 times per semester with additional coursework completed in a blended format
  • Clinical requirements (3 courses) can be completed in the student’s home community
  • Student’s core degree requirements can be taken at Newberry College or equivalent courses may be transferred
  • Complete a minimum of 32 semester hours at Newberry College
  • Special bundled tuition and fees rate of $15,000 for 32 credit hours of RN to BSN coursework. *
