A Link Between Academic Preparation and Experiential Learning

The Athletic Training Minor at Newberry College offers both formal instruction and clinical experience to enable students to gain the entry-level knowledge expected of an athletic trainer needed for acceptance into an accredited entry-level Master’s program of choice in Athletic Training. This endorsement can supplement any Newberry College program leading to a Bachelor’s degree. Suggested areas might include a major in Biology or Physical Education, or future plans for acceptance into a chiropractic, medical or physical therapy school.
