Citation/Bibliography Help
.

Proper resource citation can be one of the most difficult aspects of an undergraduate education.  This section will provide instructions on where to find help for the most popular citation styles being used today.  Each citation style guide mentioned here can be found in the Reference Room of the Wessels Library.  Each guide provides examples of how to format citations within the text of one's document or at the end of one's document in the Bibliography or Works Cited page.

It is important to note that these guides are by no means exhaustive and they only offer basic help for the most popular types of resource materials.  Therefore, it is recommended that anyone needing extensive citation help schedule an appointment at the Writing Center located on campus in Wright Hall.  Please call (803) 321-5216 for an appointment.

The following citation style guides are available in the library:

  • APA Style
  • Chicago Style
  • MLA Style
  • Turabian Style
