Experiencing Political Science:
Political Science students explore and experience
the exciting world of politics. They have the opportunity
and freedom to debate contemporary domestic and international
political issues; to develop a deeper understanding of diverse
political systems; to appreciate the complexity of world politics
and its impact on American life; to participate in student
government; to work in Presidential, Congressional or state
and local campaigns; to intern in law, local, state, or federal
offices; and to attend research conferences.

and Professional Education: The Political Science
Program prepares its graduates to continue their education
in law school or in graduate studies in public administration,
political science, or international studies; or to find employment
in international affairs, public service, public administration,
politics, education, business, communications, criminal justice,
and social work. The curriculum is designed to provide students
with the technology, reading, writing, speaking, research,
and critical thinking skills to support their career objectives.
