Because great writers

rarely work alone.

    The Writing Center assists Newberry students with writing assignments across the curriculum. Students may walk-in or make an appointment at any stages of the writing process, from generating ideas and formulating a thesis to organizing information and incorporating research.

The Writing Center also helps students completing Communication Across the Curriculum papers, and the director of the Writing Center consults with students completing the writing portions of pre-professional tests, letters of application, personal statement, and résumés for graduate schools and potential employers.
