Visit Campus Events

Seeing is believing! People can tell you how great a place is, but the best way to know whether it's right for you is to see it--and experience it--for yourself. Feel the stimulating atmosphere. Touch, use, and explore our resources. Talk with our professors and coaches. Sit in on a class. Hang out with our students. Enjoy a meal in our dining hall. Take a tour with one of our student leaders.

We want you to experience Newberry College for all it is and all it offers for your education and your life.

Individual Visits

Personal Visit: A personal visit can happen any time of year you like- though we suggest you visit while classes are in session so you get a real feel for our campus. 

Although walk-in visitors are welcome, the Office of Admissions can design an itinerary specifically suited to your needs and interest with just a bit of advance notice. Tour times are scheduled Monday-Friday at various slots throughout the day and Saturday mornings by appointment. Most visits inlcude an information session, a walking campus tour led by one of our student ambassadors, sitting in on a class or meeting with one of our faculty members.

Saturday Visits: Join us for our Saturday Visit Days for answers to any questions you have about Newberry College. During these three-hour programs, you will meet admission and financial aid counselors, current Newberry College students, as well as other interested students and parents. The program includes an information session led by an Admission Counselor, a walking tour led by a Student Ambassador and lunch with our students in the cafeteria. Spring Open House: (Registration Form)

Join us for an opportunity to experience Newberry College at our Spring Open House, on Saturday, March 24, 2012. This event is a dynamic program that showcases Newberry College’s academic and athletic programs; provides time to meet current students; speak with recent alum; interact with Newberry Community leaders; learn more about the Admission and Financial Aid process. A tour of campus, led by Student Ambassadors, will highlight our fine facilities. We certainly hope that you will invest in your academic future by attending our Spring Open House.
