Welcome Information

Dear Alumni and Friends,

Alumni and guests will join the Newberry community the 2nd weekend in October to celebrate Homecoming 2013 at Newberry College. We look forward to having you, your family and friends on campus for this annual tradition. Many fun and exciting activities are planned for Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12 as we gather to celebrate the rich heritage we share. Student-driven activities will also be held during Homecoming Week.

An Alumni Association-sponsored Homecoming Dance will kick-off the weekend’s festivities Friday, October 11. On Saturday, October 12, activities will fill the day, producing many opportunities for fellowship and fun. The day’s events culminate with the Homecoming Football Game at 4:00 p.m. This page will help you plan out your weekend and pre-register for Homecoming events.

All class years ending in “3” and “8” will be celebrating their special anniversary years. Please pay special attention to the specific meeting locations listed in this flyer.

Save the date to reunite with friends, former classmates and the Newberry community. We hope you will enjoy the camaraderie that is Homecoming at Newberry College. Please make a special effort to join us!

“We hope that you will return often in both thought and person. You are an irreplaceable part of Newberry College, having stamped your personality on the College as she has stamped hers on you.”
-Dr. A.G.D. Wiles
Newberry College President 1960-1971
