Laptop Program

          The College's laptop program started in the fall semester of 2007 and will be mandatory starting in the fall semester of 2008. Students enrolled in the College's laptop program will have complete coverage of their equipment for the whole time they are a student at Newberry College. The College will make sure that the student's laptop is up-to-date with virus protection and operating system updates. All of the laptops purchased through the College will have Windows Vista installed. Laptops will be repaired and even replaced, if broken beyond repair, in the College's Office of Information Technology. All software that is updated for the College will also be updated on all laptop program computers. Free printing will be available over the College's wireless network for all laptop program members. All the laptops will have accidental damage protection which will cover all those unexpected catastrophic events.
