Ethics in Sports FAL

Ethics in Sports FAL held Oct. 8., included a panel discussion by sports professionals, including (L to R) Ron Morris, a sports columnists for The State Newspaper in Columbia, SC; Jimmie Coggins from WKDK; John Lesaine, Assistant Professor in the department of Sport Professions; Elaine Kebbe, the Associate Commissioner of the South Atlantic Conference; and President Maurice Scherrens, who has served as a college basketball official and a NCAA Division 1 football official for over twenty years.

“Students are faced with making ethical decisions each and every day; therefore, I was excited about this event because it not only referenced ethics in sports, but ethical decision-making in everyday life as well” says Dr. Winder, Director of Diversity Education.
