The nursing program at Newberry College, which was approved by the State Board of Nursing for South Carolina in 2009, has now received national accreditation through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) Board of Commissioners, the College announced today.
270 students were named to the Dean's List for the Spring of 2011.
Newberry College’s May Commencement was held Saturday, May 7, in Eleazer Arena on the Newberry College campus. The commencement address was delivered by environmental expert and PBS personality Rudolph E. (Rudy) Mancke.

Macroeconomics students at Newberry College have recently completed projects conducting an economic impact study on the College and the surrounding area.
During the spring 2011 semester, the Newberry College Physical Education Department started a Physical Activity program for home school students from Newberry and the surrounding counties.
Newberry College announced that it has begun a partnership with The Protocol School of Washington, the leading accredited school that provides professional, universally-accepted protocol and etiquette training.
