Brie writes and coordinates press releases, uploading the information to the College website, and distributing the information on Facebook, Twitter, E-mail communications, and to the local media.
To ensure that your needs are met, it is very important that you remember to observe the lead times for each area. Depending on the complexity of each project, lead times may vary.
•Press Releases: At least 3 weeks prior to the scheduled event
•Email marketing and Social Media Postings: At least 1 week prior notice
•Photography (Use for Marketing/PR only): At least 2 weeks prior notice to the scheduled event
•Webpage Development (new pages): At least 2-3 weeks prior to the expected launch date
•Webpage Development (updates to existing pages): At least 1-2 weeks prior to the expected launch date
•Publications (Brochures): At least 6 weeks prior to time publication is needed
•Advertising/Marketing (Ads): At least 6 weeks prior to the scheduled campaign or event
•Promotion Items/Give-a-ways: At least 4-6 weeks prior to the scheduled event
•Reprints: At least 2 weeks prior to time publication is needed (if changes are needed, allow for more time)
