the position Animal Control Veterinary Technician. This position
performs technical work conducting cursory health checks on
animals in the custody of the York County Animal Shelter;
gathers samples for and conducts laboratory analyses; assists
the veterinarian with medical procedures and performs related
work as needed.
Requires
an Associate Degree, vocational technical degree or specialized
training equivalent to 2 years of college education with emphasis
in veterinary technology. Requires a valid drivers license
and Certification as a Veterinary Technician is preferred.
2-4 years of experience is also required.
