Veterans Service Representative (Rating) : The incumbent is responsible for the collection of evidence and medical documentation for specific rating cases, for screening incoming rating cases and determining whether cases are ready for final rating action. Becomes familiar with the facts necessary to determine the relationship or disability or death due to military service and evaluating disability resulting from disease or injury. Legal Administrative Specialist: Counsels veterans, their dependents, and beneficiaries via telephone regarding the full array of benefits available through the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as non-VA benefits available through other organizations concerned with veterans. Bachelor Level Counselor: The position of Teacher Counselor (TC) is at the heart and soul of our residential programs. They work hands on with the children at our residential treatment facilities. The Teacher Counselor is a part of a treatment team that works on with a group of 7 - 12 children of similar age, gender and diagnosis. Locations: Memphis and Linden , TN.

 

Family Counselor: Family counselors work in Intercept, our home based counseling program. Counselors provide counseling and case management services to children and families in their own homes. They use a systems based approach that primarily focuses on the family, but also addresses the school, peers, community and other systems that affect the child and family. Summer Internship: The Internship Program provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while truly impacting the lives of children and their families.

 

The internship is 10 weeks long and begins the Tuesday following Memorial Day. Most interns are placed in Memphis or Nashville working out residential centers or group homes, however, there are opportunities to intern with our Intercept program in East TN as well as other locations outside of Memphis and Nashville . The internship is paid at $6.50 per hour. Interns in Memphis can take advantage of affordable housing on the campuses of Christian Brothers University or university of Memphis .
