Veterans Service Representative : Within a team environment, the Veterans Service Representative (VSR) functions as (1) a counselor or advocate for VA claimants providing information about a broad range of benefits and assisting with applications for VA benefits and services, (2) a legal technician gathering requisite evidence from medical, military, community, and other sources to support benefit determinations, (3) a decision maker weighing the evidence and applying the controlling laws and regulations, and (4) a computer systems user who enters appropriate data to generate accurate benefit payments, control pending issues or schedule future actions, and release complete, correct notifications of benefits determinations. The VSR must not only be competent in the interpretations and application of laws and procedures, but must be well-versed in medical principles and terminology and in public relations skills. Veterans Service Representative (Rating) : The incumbent is responsible for the collection of evidence and medical documentation for specific rating cases, for screening incoming rating cases and determining whether cases are ready for final rating action. Becomes familiar with the facts necessary to determine the relationship or disability or death due to military service and evaluating disability resulting from disease or injury. This includes, but is not limited to, initial disability compensations cases; confirmed decisions on reopened claims for disability compensation; pension claims to include special monthly pension; entitlement to temporary total rating based on VA hospitalization; competency determinations; and service connected death claims. Prepares accurate and timely examination requests on disability claims. Evaluates the evidence, makes finding of fact, applies applicable laws and regulations, subject to review and concurrence by a senior rating specialist and/or medical officer. With assistance from a Senior Rating Specialist, prepares Statements of the Case when the decision has been put in proper disagreement by the claimant. Must be familiar with the use of Title 38 United States Code: 38 Code of Federal Regulations; VA regulations; 1945 Rating Schedule of Disabilities; and all manual directives and procedures relating to the rating process. Muse use and become familiar with attendant medical information directly related to claims.

Legal Administrative Specialist: Counsels veterans, their dependents, and beneficiaries via telephone regarding the full array of benefits available through the Department of Veterans Affairs, as well as non-VA benefits available through other organizations concerned with veterans. Incumbent explores all avenues of assistance available to veterans, beneficiaries, and dependents and takes positive action to encourage individuals to fully utilize these benefits.

Bachelor Level Counselor: The position of Teacher Counselor (TC) is at the heart and soul of our residential programs. They work hands on with the children at our residential treatment facilities. The Teacher Counselor is a part of a treatment team that works on with a group of 7 - 12 children of similar age, gender and diagnosis. Locations: Memphis and Linden , TN.

Family Counselor: Family counselors work in Intercept, our home based counseling program. Counselors provide counseling and case management services to children and families in their own homes.
