Campus ministry student groups are open to all students, regardless of their denominational affiliation!
Newberry College Ministry Groups:
Baptist Collegiate Ministries (BCM)
- Meets on Mondays at 8:00 p.m. in the Weber Ministry House
- Advisor: Dr. Bruce Bradley
- Offers food, fellowship, and Bible Study
- Participates in community service projects.

Christians Living Among You (CLAY)
- Meets on Wednesdays at 9:15 p.m. in Wiles Chapel
- President: Robbie Madison
- Advisor: Dr. Mike Beggs
- An ecumenical group that meets for praise and worship, Bible study, and fellowship.
- Participates in a wide variety of service projects and retreats.
Lutheran Student Movement (LSM)
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
- Meets on Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. in Wiles Chapel or Alumni Music Building
- President: Laura Duncan
- Advisor: Sara Willis
- Offers pray and praise and an opportunity to hear local speakers share about their faith.
- Participates in local, regional, and national FCA events.

Metoka Galeda
- Meets on Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. in Wiles Chapel
- President: Mylanda Middleton
- Advisor: Travis Ballenger
- Director: Travis Jones
- Metoka Galeda is Swahili for "young men, young women."
- Promotes unity, love, joy and faith through Christian and community service.
- Multi-Cultural Gospel Choir that performs locally and througout the United States.
- Participates in service projects in the community.

Pre-Seminary Group
- Advisor: Pastor Todd Cutter
- Meets various times througout the year in the Weber House.
- Open to all those discerning a vocation in public ministry.
- The group discusses the challenges of ministry, offers support to one another, and visits seminaries.
- Consists of students of various denominations who may be intersted in serving the church as a pastor, youth director, church musician, deacon, or director of Christian Education.
General Details About Campus Ministry Groups:
- Groups are guided by an advisor from the faculty or staff
- Each group is a registered organization on campus.
- Groups elect their own officers and have an approved constitution and by-laws.
- The president of each group serves on the Christian Council, along with faculty and staff members appointed to the committee by the Faculty Council.
- Groups have regularly scheduled meetings throughout the school year
- Each group takes a turn leading chapel
- Groups work cooperatively with the other organizations to plan events for the entire campus.
- Groups take part in community service projects including the Safe-Kids Halloween, a Christmas Toy Drive, and much more!
