Grounded in a liberal arts environment, the Digital Marketing program is an interdisciplinary mix of courses in Business Administration, E-Commerce, Communications, Graphic Design, and Social Media designed for a rapidly-growing, worldwide field. Digital Marketing students learn how to apply marketing principles and create effective marketing strategies to promote goods and services across Internet platforms and other electronic mediums. Students will learn how to use search engine analytics and optimization to maximize client exposure over a variety of digital media venues.

Requirements

Digital Marketing (60 hours)

Students pursuing a BS degree in Digital Marketing must complete a total of 60 semester hours in a prescribed course of study. 

  • 3 hours: Accounting fundamentals
  • 12 hours: Business administration fundamentals
  • 9 hours: Media writing, public relations and research
  • 9 hours: Digital marketing
  • 9 hours: Graphic design
  • 6 hours: Economics
  • 6 hours: Management information systems
  • 3 hours: Social media
  • 3 hours: Statistics
