Assistant Professor of Exercise Science
Position Description: Newberry College, a liberal arts institution located in Newberry, SC, and affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America seeks to hire an assistant professor within the Department of Sport Professions to begin August 2019. This position fulfills a need in a growing department for a new major in Exercise Science. The chosen candidate will teach courses in but not limited to: biomechanics, kinesiology, exercise physiology, and anatomy and physiology.
Qualifications: The Department of Sport Professions at Newberry College announces the opening of a full-time faculty, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 2019. The appropriate candidate must demonstrate a strong aptitude for teaching and promise for scholarly work. The appropriate candidate will need to hold at least a Master’s degree (doctorate or ABD, preferred) in Exercise Science or any closely-related field.
