Bio:
Dr. Melissa Adams has 20+ years of experience and leadership in enterprise Information Technology programs. She is currently serving as an adjunct professor for Online and Graduate programs at Newberry College.
Dr. Adams holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (D.B.A.) from Tapia School of Business and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Homeland Security, both from Saint Leo University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University. She also holds Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Areas of academic research interest include IT leadership and remote work transition and implementation. Dr. Adams’ publications include her recent dissertation work titled Remote Work Implementation in Federal IT: A Leadership Perspective.
