Bio:
Joe R. Lansdale has received eleven Bram Stoker Awards as well as the Edgar, Raymond Chandler, British Fantasy, and Inkpot Awards. Lansdale has written more than forty novels, including the popular Hap and Leonard series, Dead in the West, The Drive-In, The Bottoms, Thee Thicket, Moon Lake, and The Donut Legion. Lansdale’s recent short story collections include Things Get Ugly and In the Mad Mountains. His adapted works include the cult classic movie Bubba Ho-Tep, the Hap and Leonard TV series on Net ix, and stories for Masters of Horror; Love, Death + Robots; and Creepshow. He has also written graphic novels for DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, and others. Lansdale lives in Nacogdoches, Texas.
