Bio:
Kimberly Stockman Mack serves as an Assistant Professor of Education and Field and Clinical Experience Coordinator at Newberry College. She brings more than 25 years of experience in education, including classroom teaching, instructional leadership, and school administration. A proud alumna of Newberry College, she earned her Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education with a minor in Mathematics in 1997 and her Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from Nova Southeastern University.
Mack’s career has included serving as a middle and elementary school teacher, math facilitator, assistant principal, and principal. Most recently, she served 15 years as principal of Little Mountain Elementary School in Newberry County. Her professional experiences have shaped her passion for mentoring educators, supporting teacher candidates, strengthening school-university partnerships, and connecting educational theory to authentic classroom practice. She has been recognized as a Newberry College Hall of Master Teachers honoree, District Distinguished Administrator of Reading, and Teacher of the Year.
Newberry College holds a deeply personal place in Mack’s heart. She married her high school sweetheart, Jamey Mack, in Wiles Chapel on May 10, 1997, the same year she graduated from Newberry College. Together, they welcomed their daughter, Kynley, on November 19, 2006, who is their pride and joy.
A lifelong member of Mount Tabor Lutheran Church, Mack values faith, family, relationships, and service. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, boating, swimming, and snow skiing.
Mack considers it a privilege to return to Newberry College and is passionate about helping future educators discover their purpose, develop their skills, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of their students.
