Bio:
Julie Stevenson is a passionate educator with a strong background in physical education and curriculum development. While earning her bachelor's in physical education from Ball State University, she gained foundational knowledge and a deep commitment to promoting physical literacy and wellness among students. She furthered her expertise by earning her master's in curriculum and instruction from the American College of Education, focusing on designing effective educational programs tailored to diverse learning needs.
Professor Stevenson has dedicated nearly 20 years to teaching K-5 physical education in a suburb just north of Chicago. Beyond the classroom, she has actively engaged in promoting health and fitness, reflecting her personal and professional commitment to fostering active lifestyles among her students.
In her leisure time, Professor Stevenson enjoys staying active, cherishing moments with her family, and walking her two dogs.
