Newberry Chief Financial Officer Steven Feld Steps Down

NEWBERRY, S.C., FEB. 10, 2012 -- Newberry College has announced that its Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Executive Vice President for Administrative Affairs , Dr. Steven Feld , will step down from the position effective Feb. 29. Feld will become Chief Financial Officer at Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa.

During his time at Newberry, Feld was responsible for overseeing all business processes at the college, including financial operations, purchasing, information technology and human resources.

On behalf of the entire campus community, I would like to thank Dr. Feld for his energetic and committed financial leadership. Newberry College has made significant gains during his tenure, Acting President John Hudgens said in a statement.

Felds experience in higher education spans both public and private institutions, including the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Maryland, where he served as Executive Director of Executive Education and Executive Director of Global Ventures for the Smith School of Business. He taught for Penn's Graduate School of Education and in executive programs for such companies as Lockheed Martin and Black & Decker. Feld has also served as Chief Operating Officer for the N.Y. firm CEO Connection.
