Newberry College Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda to Host Entrepreneur Week

NEWBERRY, S.C. Local entrepreneurs Nakeshia Saunders and John Glasgow will present at Entrepreneur Week hosted by Newberry Colleges chapter of Phi Beta Lambda on Tuesday, Feb. 14 and Thursday, Feb. 16 both at 2 p.m. in the West Memorial Recital Hall of the Alumni Music Center.
In celebration of Black History Month, Phi Beta Lambda will collaborate with the Office of Diversity and the Department of Business, Behavioral and Social Science to host Entrepreneur Week. Nakeshia Saunders, owner of Saunders Family and Portrait Photography, will be sharing her business experience Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. John Glasgow, operational director of the Living Hope Foundation, will be presenting his experience Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. This event is for students of all majors to listen to minority business owners and learn about the entrepreneur world. Both events will take place in West Memorial Recital Hall of the Alumni Music Center.
Phi Beta Lambda is extremely proud to have two business owners come out and discuss their experiences with the students of Newberry College, said Jared Holliday, vice-president of Phi Beta Lambda. These lectures will not only educate but inspire everyone in attendance.
