Assistant Softball Coach

Bio:

Kylie comes to Newberry after serving as the Assistant Softball Coach at Paris Junior College from 2020-2023. As a Dragon, Shay helped turn the softball program around starting in 2021 where they had the most wins in a season in five years, along with becoming nationally ranked for the first time in school history in 2022. During the 2023 season, the Dragons had the most conference wins in school history with an 18-6 record.

While at Paris Junior College, Shay coached the Dragons to 97 wins in three seasons. Shay coached 15 all-conference players, eight all-region, and the pitcher and player of the year in the 2023 season.
