Bio:
Jennifer Bickley obtained her BSN from Newberry College in 2014 and her MSN from South University in 2017. She earned her graduate degree from South University with a specialization in nursing education. Though not currently enrolled, she would like to continue her knowledge in nursing education in an accredited doctoral program within the next 2 years. Before becoming a full-time faculty member at Newberry College in the spring of 2019, Jennifer served as an adjunct instructor for the Fundamentals course at Newberry College in the fall of 2018. Jennifer also taught clinicals for Fundamentals and Medical-Surgical courses at Newberry College and the University of South Carolina from the years 2016-2018. Jennifer has worked as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse at Lexington Medical Center since 2014 and has served as a unit preceptor while employed in this role. She holds Medical-Surgical certification through the Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification Board and Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association. Jennifer’s professional goal is to serve as a nurse educator who positively influences the nursing profession by holistically stimulating nursing students and nursing education.
