Bio:

As a native of Darlington, SC, Professor Bridges received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Francis Marion University in 2014. He continued his studies, obtaining his Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University in 2018.

Prior to joining the faculty at Newberry College in 2022, Professor Bridges served as an Adjunct Professor of Business for Benedict College in Columbia, SC, and Virginia College in Florence, SC. Professor Bridges also served as a Business Instructor for both Sumter County School District and Richland County School District Two. In these roles, Professor Bridges served as an advisor of the South Carolina Chapter - Region II of DECA. As a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, Professor Bridges has had the opportunity to lead and mentor countless male students by way of the national Project Alpha initiative. Prior to beginning his career in education, Professor Bridges served as a member of local and regional leadership in the retail industry. Professor Bridges' instructional background includes Organizational Leadership, Management, Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Personal Finance.
