Bio:

Rebekah Dixon has been a member of the Newberry College faculty since 2004. She earned tenure in 2007 as an assistant professor focusing on the academic major of Sport Management and minor of Athletic Training. During her time at Newberry College she has served as the Head Men’s & Women's Cross Country Coach at Newberry College (2006-2008 season) and has served on various Newberry College committees. She serves as the Sport Management program coordinator and has served as the co-faculty advisor to the Blue Key Honor Society since 2010. She was awarded the Golden Machete Awards (2011-2012) for program assessment. She also has been certified through the American Red Cross to teach First Aid/CPR since 2002 and uses her NSCA-CSCS certification as a part-time personal trainer to assist individuals with their health and fitness goals.Dixon was born and raised in Gastonia, N.C.
