Bio:

Dr. Annette Hunter has been in the state of South Carolina for 29 years, and she is so blessed to have joined Newberry College as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Teacher Education. Hunter received a B.S. in elementary education from Temple University, a M.Ed. in both gifted and special education from Widener University, and a Ph.D. in postsecondary and adult education from Capella University.

Hunter's doctrine of education is not about why her students are in her classroom, but about why each subject she will teach them will play a significant part in the learning process.  This follows through with getting her students involved and letting them experience what they are learning.  She believes that through class experiments, class discussions, or any other activity that stimulates and promotes students’ cognitive ability and awareness, learning will progress.
