Bio:

Les received a B.S. in Biology from Eastern Kentucky University; a Graduate Certificate (Physician’s Assistant) from the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine; and an M.B.A. in Health Care Management from Regis University.

Prior to joining the faculty at Newberry College, Les held senior-level health care management positions for 30 years. He has experience in the management of hospitals, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities. During his career he has developed several assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, one of which won an international award for design and service delivery. Les also holds an S.C. license as a skilled nursing facility administrator and an assisted living facility administrator. In addition he has been recognized by several S.C. courts as an expert witness in the long term care business and has provided consulting services in numerous legal cases.
