How do I earn participation points for Homecoming @ Home? Easy! Follow the instructions in the description of the specific day on how to earn your points. Each day of participation = 1 point!

Go Wolves Spirit Day – To kick off the week wear your Newberry College gear at work, school or home to show off your school spirit. No matter where you live in the world, we can unite with our Newberry College pride!
To gain participation points for the day, share a picture of you showing off your Newberry College gear + tag the Newberry College Alumni Association in your post!
Tuesday, October 13
“@ Home” Giving Day – Our alumni and friends really showed out during Scarlet and Gray Week. We are asking you to show your support of Newberry College by making a gift today. We invite you to make a gift of a size that is meaningful to you to any area on campus that is meaningful to you.
During the day you will see several fun and interesting ways to participate. Make sure to follow us closely on this day!
To gain participation points for the day, make a gift of $50 or more!
Wednesday, October 14
Newberry College Trivia Night – You won't want to miss this year's Homecoming @ Home Trivia Night, hosted by Dr. Tracy Power, associate professor of history and college archivist! Get a team together with your family, classmates, or just yourself and put your random Newberry College knowledge to the test. Compete for $100 worth of prizes + bragging rights! You just might know more than you think!

Honoring Our Diversity Day – Join us as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first African American graduate, those who have followed in her footsteps, and all the ways campus continues to be a diverse and inclusive home for all.

Saturday, October 17
Alumni Awards – It’s time to celebrate this year’s Alumni Award recipients! The Newberry College Alumni Association is proud to recognize alumni and friends for their service to the College, the church, and their communities. We’ll see you at 10:30 a.m. on the Alumni Association Facebook page! Beginning at 11:30 a.m. will be the African American Alumni Chapter meeting and ceremony. Contact us for details on how to join the AAAC meeting.

Sunday, October 18
Worship & Memorial Service – One of the most beloved places on campus is Wiles Chapel. When we gather in the chapel we gather as a community. Please join Pastor Ernie Worman and Dr. John Lesaine '07 at 11 a.m. on the Alumni Association Facebook page as we worship virtually and memorialize our fellow alumni who have passed.

What does virtual Homecoming look like?
A lineup of virtual events hosted by the Newberry College Alumni Association and friends will be available virtually, including some of our most popular Homecoming events. Invite your loved ones to join you in celebrating a Homecoming unlike like any other. Most events will be open to all, while other events can be customized and exclusive to you and your classmates.
Will we have a football game?
No. On Aug. 7, the South Atlantic Conference postponed the start of fall sports competition to the spring 2021 semester. This includes men's and women's cross country, field hockey, football, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball. Click here for more information.
How can I support Newberry College during this time?
Now more than ever, the College is appreciative of gifts to support our students, faculty and programs. Aid for student scholarships and needed adjustments to College operations are some of our highest priorities during COVID-19. You can follow the GIVE NOW link to make an impact today.
Do I need to register for virtual Homecoming events?
A link is necessary to participate in most events. When you register for Homecoming @ Home events, you will receive the links via email prior to the event.
Are virtual Homecoming events free?
Yes, Homecoming @ Home events are free.
