We are proud to Forever Stay Scarlet & Gray! This year, we are spreading Scarlet and Gray pride all over Newberry through new events, business partnerships, campus decorating, athletics, and more! The College is excited to welcome all alumni back to campus and will celebrate milestone reunions for the classes of 1976, 1986, 2001, and 2016.

Class Reunion Central
Classes of 1976, 1986, 2001, and 2016 as they celebrate their class reunions. All reunion classes will be invited to Class Reunion Central, overlooking the Homecoming tailgate.
- Where: Yost Portico
- When: Begins at noon and will run until 3 p.m.
- What: Food and beverages in a lounge environment; reunion gifts
Alumni will check in at the welcome tent. Reunion alumni will receive name tags and wristbands to enter Class Reunion Central.
Check In & Registration:
The Alumni check-in will open Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at the head of Bachman Court. Meet the Alumni Board of Managers and pick up your Homecoming goodies.
Alumni Association Meeting:
All alumni are invited to join the BOM for the Annual Alumni Association Meeting in Wiles Chapel. Attendees will hear campus updates, recognize the milestone reunion classes, and celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s Alumni Awards recipients. The last day to nominate someone for an alumni award is August 31.
Tailgate Spots:
All alumni are invited to purchase a tailgate spot at newberry.edu/homecoming. Tailgate registration will begin on August 3. Spots will be assigned, and location information will be sent out the week of October 12.
We want the Homecoming tailgating experience to be enjoyable for all of the Newberry College family and fans. The number one priority is your safety! The tailgating guidelines can be found under FAQ’s on the homecomingwebsite.
Parade:
The Homecoming Parade will begin at 3 p.m. The parade route will go all the way around the Holland Hall Circle. The Homecoming Parade is organized by the Office of Student Affairs.
Pep Rally:
The Homecoming Pep Rally will take place immediately following the parade. After watching the parade, make your way to around the Holland Hall Circle to enjoy the pep rally.
A Forever Home in Newberry

Newberry College will always hold a special place in my heart—not just because of my own story, but because of the family and lifelong connections it has given me. It’s where I met my husband during my very first week of school, where my little sister found her own path, and where my sister-in-law (my husband’s sister) built her own memories, too. There’s something truly special about sharing such a deep bond with loved ones through the same college experience.
When my husband and I got married, our wedding party was filled with our Newberry friends—proof of just how lasting those relationships are. To this day, my closest friends are the ones I met at Newberry, and they continue to be such a meaningful part of my life.
This year’s Homecoming was especially meaningful. My husband and I were able to bring our three-year-old daughter back to the place where our story began. Watching her play with the children of our classmates, fraternity brothers, and sorority sisters was a full-circle moment—proof that Newberry continues to connect generations in the most beautiful way.
I thank God every day for leading me to Newberry College. It’s where I gained an education, strengthened my faith, learned lessons that shaped who I am, and made friends who became family.
