Greek Life

Fraternities & Sororities

You may choose to enhance your Newberry College experience with the unique opportunities of Greek Life. Fraternities and sororities promote scholarship, provide leadership opportunities, build lasting friendships, encourage community service and philanthropy, and allow for social and athletic opportunities. The Office of Greek Life currently advises nine fraternities and sororities.

Campus Ministry

Living in God's Amazing Grace

As you explore and grow in your faith, campus ministry can provide fun activities, a sense of community, and a spiritual education. Everyone -- regardless of faith tradition, church affiliation, or age -- is invited to be a part of campus ministry at Newberry College.

Each week classes are in session, Wednesday Chapel offers the College community a chance to stop, reflect, and be inspired by God's Word and works. Half-hour services are held Wednesdays at 10:10 a.m. in Wiles Chapel.

Each year, Newberry College offers daily devotionals during the church seasons of Advent and Lent. Written by faculty, staff, students and alumni, the devotions are posted online and aired on WKDK 1240 AM. Click here to read this year's Advent devotionals.

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes offers weekly student-led faith discussions and fellowship for all students, regardless of church affiliation or athletic participation. Meetings are held at 9 p.m. each Monday, in varying locations across campus.
