Tickets & Guest Seating

TICKETS

Tickets will be required for all guests. Tickets are electronic and will be available on the Newberry College Athletics website under the “Tickets” tab. The ticket portal will open at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 12. Click here for ticketing instructions. Each graduate will be allotted tickets for 5 guests, due to fire marshal occupancy limitations. Students who would like the opportunity to receive 1 additional guest ticket should apply here by Thursday, May 12 at 9 a.m. 

 

GUEST ENTRY

One admitted, guests must remain in the arena until the conclusion of commencement exercises. No re-entry will be permitted. Guests are asked not to bring balloons, flowers, or other gifts into Eleazer Arena. Overflow seating will be available in Wiles Chapel on a first-come, first-served basis. The ceremony will be livestreamed in the chapel.

Parking & Accessibility

PARKING

Graduates and guests are encouraged to park in the Athletic Club parking lot, on the College Street side of Setzler Field. For other parking areas, click here to view the campus map. Handicapped parking is reserved at the Smeltzer Hall and Keller Hall lots (#14 and #25 on the map), accessible from College Street. Guests may be dropped off at Wiles Chapel if reserved spaces are filled. Campus Security will operate shuttle services from parking lots to Wiles Chapel.

 

DISABILITY SEATING

If you require accessible seating, please notify a member of the event staff.

 

ASL INTERPRETER SERVICE

If you require a sign language interpreter, please email Lisa.Duncan@newberry.edu and we will seat you accordingly.
