Are You Entrepreneurial?

The baccalaureate degree in Business Administration includes study in the areas of accounting, finance, management, marketing, economics, business law, international business, and management information systems. Students will use demonstrated oral and written communication skills, along with computational and analytical decision-making abilities to compete in today’s competitive business environment.

Based on the principles of teamwork, ethics and leadership, the baccalaureate degree in Business Administration includes study in the areas of accounting, finance, management, marketing, economics, business law, international business and management information systems. Students will demonstrate oral and written communication skills, as well as analytical decision-making abilities, with an emphasis on creativity and innovation within existing frameworks. Furthermore, reality-based learning opportunities — service learning projects and internships — equip students to be competitive contributors in the local, regional, and global economy.

 

Oversight for the Business Administration program is provided by the Business Administration Advisory Committee, which consistis of practicing CPAs and other professionals in the business community. The Department also sponsors one of the country's longest-running chapters of Phi Beta Lambda, the student business club.

The major in Business Administration includes

  • 30 hours: Business administration fundamentals
  • 6 hours: Accounting

The minor in Business Administration includes
